Movie Summary
A family for the young and the old, Bahurani is a family film about Indian womanhood, the Bahu. Madhuri is a poor, but educated girl, living with her younger brother and widowed mother. The family is overjoyed when a rich man asks for Madhuri to be his daughter in law. Amit, his son does not accept Madhuri as his wife, even though he has married her. Madhuri changes her personality and quietly earns the love and devotion of her husband, Amit.
