Movie Summary
A mothers love for her offspring is never surpassed. Anand (Jeetendra), a multi millionaire, married Devki (Sridevi), a poor but principled woman of rare determination. Their happiness knows no bounds when they get the news of their impending parenthood. At that time they form a friendship with another couple, Yashoda (Jaya Prada) and Vicky (Vinod Meahra) in similar happy circumstances. Devki gives birth to a son, while Yashoda is expecting her child anytime. Disaster strikes! In a tragic rail accident, Vicky and Devki are killed, and Yashoda gives birth to a stillborn child. Unable to see, Yashoda alone and suffering, Anand quietly substitutes his newborn son for Yashodas stillborn child. Years later Devki, who has somehow survived the accident returns and wants her child. Two loving mothers, one child. What can Anand do?
