Movie Summary
It was a case of mistaken identity. The organizers of a show mistook Jai (Dharmendra) for a singer. But he did not disappoint them. In the process he won over Arti (Asha Parekh). A whirlwind courtship followed. Everything was hunky dory, marriage plans were being made, when fate played a cruel trick. Jai knocked down and killed an old man. He had unknowingly killed Artis father. Everything fell apart, and Jai was forced to learn about the harsh realities of his lifeway Sawan Jhoom Ke has Some memorable melodies: Yeh shama tho jail roshni ke liye- Mohd. Rafi.
