Movie Summary
Chaahat is the story of power, money, wealth and love. Roop (Shahrukh Khan) and his father Shambhu Rathod (Anupam Kher) are folk singers who make their living entertaining tourists at Jaipur hotels. Roop moves to Mumbai for his father’s treatment where he meets Reshma (Ramya), sister of Ajay Narayan (Nareeruddin Shah) who is the owner of a big hotel. He also meets a girl whose name he doesn't know and calls her Zindagi ji (Pooja Bhatt) as she had saved his life one day. Reshma is in deep love with Roop. Ajay Narang will do any thing to see his sister happy. While Zindagi will do anything to see Roop happy. But Roop needs money to get his father treated and Ajay Narang is the only one who can help him. What will Roop do? Will he compromise with the situation or will he fight back for love, money and his father’s life ? Watch CHAHAAT to know how Roop tackles the situation.
