Movie Summary
Shankar (Mithun) has grown up to be a boatman. He does not know that he is the son of a king. One night during a riot, some gypsies kidnapped him to take revenge on the king. Unaware of his royal lineage, Shankar is content to be a boatman. Shambu (Danny) a woodcutter is Shankars close friend. When both friends fall in love with the Reshma (Vijeta Pandit), an orphan girl, Shambu in a fit of jealousy, becomes Shankars sworn enemy. He joins hands with the corrupt Diwan of the king and plots to drive away the gypsies.
