Movie Summary
Though titled a sequel, the film begins 10 years before the incidents of 'Infernal Affairs I'. Chan is dismissed from the police academy as his half - brother is a triad boss. But he is hired as an undercover cop, to infiltrate the triad. At the same time, triad member Lau is rising in the police force. Meanwhile, a rival crime boss increases his powers inside the triad. Half - truths, blatant lies and hidden identities create a stylish, action - packed, complex maze that ends with the beginning of a bitter enmity between the mob head, Sam, and Officer Wong. Indie Corner - Rajat Kapoor's ''Hypnothesis'' A man leaves his house. Another applies for leave in his office. A third finishes his tea. Another gets himself shaved. All four are fresh entrants in the world of crime; kidnapping to be more precise. But the father of the kindnapped boy refuses to pay up. The son has already played this trick before and collected good ransom. The father does not believe this time it is a real thing. The kidnappers get desperate. The son has an idea. The plot thickens.
