Movie Summary
Legend has it that Vrinda, a prostitute fell in love with Lord Krishna. He was already married and could not accept her love. When she pleaded that she only wanted to keep seeing him, he relented, saying that she could be near enough, but never in the house, always in the courtyard as the tulsi plant. This is the story of one such woman, who sacrificed her happiness to see her lover happy. The wife who cared for the other womans son as much as her own. Tulsi is a poem that seeks no answer, a song of love and sacrifice, a love that sacrifices and sacrifices to love.
