Movie Summary
What can a teenage girl do to win over her grandparents? They are the only ones left she can look up to. She is Sita (Kajol). She has come to India to attend her cousins wedding. And her grand father, Sitaram Chowdhry (Jeetendra) was looking forward to seeing his estranged son (Sitas father). But she has had to come alone. Her parents are dead and she is in a dilemma. How will her grandparents react to her news? As it is, her father had differences with his father and walked out of the house and settled in America. And now years later, Sita has to rebuild the family bonds. Will Sita remain an orphan or will her grandparents accept her? This role of Kajol is probably one of the finest of her career. The film showcases her talent to an extent worthy of her background.
